Covid-19 Update

Updated: May 25, 2021

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

Here is an update on the latest COVID-19 information here at Lund Lutheran Church.

At the May Lund Council meeting, we had discussion on the mask wearing and discontinuing social distancing in the church. Discussion was based on the change in CDC guidelines with regard to masks and social distancing and President Biden's speech to America about it. After fruitful discussion it was decided that those who have had both vaccine shots no longer have to wear their masks (but they are welcome to do so if they wish). However, those who have not received the vaccine are recommended to wear their masks while in church. It was also decided to discontinue the social distancing while in the church. Folks are welcome to sit where they wish. We also discussed coffee/fellowship downstairs following worship. It was decided to allow coffee/fellowship again.

Please understand that these things could change again if the situation warrants it.

We ask you to continue to remember your church with your offerings. The work of the church does not stop because of the pandemic. Bills continue to come and other expenses are also incurred to continue God’s work. Offerings can be placed in the box marked offerings in the entry at the top of the steps. You can also mail your offering to Myra Eastman.

Thank you for your patience with us and your understanding! We are trying to get back to some sort of normalcy. Things will not be the same as they were pre-pandemic but we're slowly coming back.
